Construction slowed when it rained. :(
And picked up again with the sunshine. :)

The roof is on and papered....next week the windows go in.

The Yard at Snowdon

We really miss our yard and the quiet of our old neighborhood. The house we are renting has a nice side yard but it is on a very busy street....lots of sirens and loud cars. :(

Construction, August 8-11

All the interior walls are up and tonight we watched as the roof trusses were installed over the great room. It looks like a house now! We can even see the house as we drive down Sandpit Road.

The foundation is ready for the next step. As you can see the weather hasn't been cooperating.

Construction, the Dig

They began digging the foundation in late June.

Construction, August 6th

Framing started in late July. This is as of August 6th. We're visiting the construction site daily now watching the progress. There are just 2 guys framing the house and its amazing what they can get done in a day.
