We are just 4 days away from moving in. Thankfully the balusters arrived today and the open staircase to the basement was completed. The carpeting has been installed as has the outside lighting. There are a few things left to do - the dining room chandelier is being re-ordered due to a mar in the finish, the lighting in some of the bathrooms were installed upside down, two light fixtures are on back order and we are waiting for the gutters, shutters and window boxes to be installed.

Tomorrow the maple floors will get the finish coat applied which means we can't go inside for 48 hours. I expect we will still go out to the house to check on the progress of the pond and patio.
